The economy being shit is the BS reason my last job gave me for firing me. But I'm pretty sure they actually did it because I'm brain-damaged. I hope you find something soon!
Again I know this may not be of much help but my brother and I babysit dogs on our free time at home for money. It does help build money back up. For example we usually say $20 a day depending on how long the dog(s) stay. So maybe you could consider doing something like that? Again sorry if this isn’t much help it’s just a suggestion or idea.
