Yeah, in the case of World especially, I thought it was weird since it was a more powerful system, and then they rereleased the game twice where he had unique sprites. But even weirder, we eventually came to learn in very early builds of the game, he had a unique look even then! So I'm unsure why they went back, even though I do enjoy seeing Green Mario
