Alright here it is! Pretty much doing this for Kisame I guess....heck it's fun to see him act normal.
The Kings Speech review:
Amazing! Based on the story of King George VI Played by Colin Firth who has a speech impediment is helped by a speech threapist to help his public speeking skills. As of late this movie is getting praised like crazy with a golden globe, critics choice, IMDb Top 250 is this really that great of a movie? In my opinion pretty much, the acting was amazing, the screenplay was really well written, and the cinemaography really sucks you in. Plus it has a share of funny scenes like the scene where they show how he curses up a storm with no difficulty "SHIT SHIT FUCK FUCK TITTY" I loled hard at that. However the movie can become a bit of a snoozer at some parts and has it's share of awkward closeups of fat old guys :P but if you can keep awake you'll enoy this movie a lot. 8.5/10
FUN FACT TIME: (Ripped from Imdb) Derek Jacobi (Archbishop Cosmo Lang) portrayed the title character in I, Claudius who was also a noted stutterer.
Death Note Review:
To many this is one of the best written animes ever written. And after 6 volumes it still is! Light Yagami is a generic student in Japan who comes across a strange notebook which came from the world of Shinigami. Basically he can write the name of anyone and when and how they will die. Very Interesting concept, check! With that Light gets rid of criminal scum one by one. Of course it's not long before the whole world finds out about this and dubs the name Kira ( which is Japanese for Murder or Angel of Death). As the series goes on the characters become more developed filled with plot twists around every corner and of course L's weirdness. Which I gotta admit seeing him holding a cellphone in a quirky way is kinda fun to watch. Hell I even dressed up as him for a costume.
( but don't tell anyone) ;3

Cowboy Bebop Review:
Known by many to be one of the greatest animes of all time that even non anime fans will grow to like. A crew consisting of bounty hunters starting with Spike a laid back wise cracker who will do anything for money. Spiegal who runs all the technical stuff, and along the way more characters are introduced like the lovely Fai valentine a beautiful wanted criminal who they spare for the money and let her join also she has a gambling addiction and look even a dog dawwww!
Anyway, it takes place in the year 2071 so it's got flying ships guns explosions and full of action. The characters are orignal and colorful to follow and will have you hooked from beiging to end.
Add in a REALLY catchy jazz soundtrack not to mention the intro and you got yourself a winner!!
PERFECT 10/10!
Street Fighter series review:
Yeah yeah yeah I know it's another game review but it had it's share of anime spin offs. But who gives a shit, If you don't know me by now with all the little cosplays in my profile pictures I LOVE STREET FIGHTER. Seriously, I've been playing it for almost 2 years thanks to the SF collab on Newgrounds. So which game am I going to review? I can't decided they're all too good. Even though they spewed out port after port after port in the early days.
Now the story for this isn't too much in particular. The early games pretty much tell you at the end you pretty much had to read the Maunual. An diabolial crime syndicate known as Shadowloo has been recruiting Street Fighters from around the world the leader M.Bison is notorious for his countless evil...stuff.
Speaking of M.Bison is one of the most Badass villans in a video games I've seen. I put him #1 with Ganon at runner up.
Anyway 90% of the fighters all want a their own shot at Bison as he hosts a fighting tournament which everyone enters.
Who? well lets see...
Theres:

Chun-li

Fuck it this will take forever just look it up.
Anyway as for gameplay it's a traditional fighting game like none other. Keep in mind first time players this is NOT Smash Brothers where every move is easy.
With wicked attacks, Speacial moves, Ultra Combos Hadokens, Shoryukens and so forth this is a fighting game that will live on to be a classic forever.
PERFECT 10/10 WEGRA APPROVED
Pokemon (anime) review:
I wanna be the very best that no one ever was dun dun dun to catch them is my real test to train them is my cauuuse...Gotta catch em allll Pokémon!
I don't have to explain everything almost all of you memorized this show as a little kid.
Ash, Misty, Brock, and a wide colorful cast of characters embark on a journey to catch all the Pokemon in the entire world.
We all remembered the crazy back in 99 it was a phenomanon even though the english dubs were a bit corny and butchered at times we didn't care this was the shit.
nothing else to say 9/10!
The Family Man review:
After seeing the "Nicholas Cage wants cake" video I decided to check it out.And I gotta admit it's a very cute movie.
Jack is a business man who one day finds out what life would be like if he married the girl he used to love after some incident.
He wakes up and sees that he married Kate and had 2 kids. And stuff ensues
I thought it was a feel good kind of movie with humor, a few serious scenes all the basics.
Only complaint was that Makenzie Vega girl at the time. Look at her lisping every word like she's Elmar Fudd trying to be cute..Give me a break
7/10

A remake of an old western movie from 1969. Now, I gotta be honest I'm not much of a western kind of guy...yet. And I'm pretty sure the genres been dead for a while.
Then comes this movie. And boy what a spectacular remake it was. Mattie Ross is a 14-year old girl who's father was killed by Tom Chaney (no relation to Dick Chaney. Yeah I know lame joke)
So she finds a washed up marshal named Rooster Cogburn. And embark on an epic journey through the west to track down this deadly killer
The cinematography really captures the atmosphere of the west and the actors did a great job. Though some moments were bit questionable like that chicken guy I found it to be a really worthy remake.
Only complaint was Hailey Steinfeld was a bit of a chatterbox and talked a bit way to much. But nothing really too bad about that.
7.5/10!

Based off of Greek Mythology telling the tale of Persius in an epic quest to slay the Kraken and Medusa and rescue the princess!
Wait a minute this is only from 1981? Get out of here! Seriously, I never would have thought that it looked like it was from the 70's or 60's
But seriously though the stop motion for the time is amazing and it still is now. I mean the whole movie I am amazed by how they made all the models and the behind the scenes work that went into it
Also compared to the 2010 version this one is vastly supperior. Like they say you can't beat the original.
Clannad Review:
Very eccentric anime. Actually every second I watch each episode I get a weird vibe from it. I can't really follow the plot that much but basically from what I can pick up it pretty much takes place in a gloomy town in Japan until this whole Guy meets girl changes his life. However the girls are very clueless and some of them are very weird.
I honestly don't know how to explain this actually but despite that...I kinda like it.
7/10!
Panty and Stocking With Gaterbelt review:
Wow, I've never seen anything like this. If you're on Twitter or just follow anime in general you've seen this everywhere it's spreading around like crazy! Currently there are no dubs (which is a good thing) but that makes things even funnier. The plot consists of two angels who were kicked out of heaven due to "bad behavior" and are sent to a world between heaven and hell with a Black priest with an epic fro who btw makes the show even more hilarious is that he's speaking japanese. Anyway these two angels must collect enough heaven coins to go back into heaven. Hence the title the girl who looks like Princess Peach's creepy #1 fan girl that stole Pauline's dress is Panty who is a sex crazed nymph and the cute looking Emo Girl with an epic tate for sweets is stocking. And...What the hell is GIR from Invader Zim doing here? Anyway they defeat monsters and collect coins. Like a videya game.
That being said the series is extreemly enjoyable and a riot to watch as everyone says it is. The animation style is very colorful and original and the plots are downright hilarious. I mean theres one episode where Gaterbelt disguises himself and does some kinda lingere run and this evil ghost likes to eat them and they use the underpants as guns.
Oh Oh! Wait the one I'm watching now is the one where theres like this celebrity who supports nose picking and it becomes a huge craze and he invites them on his Inflatable gift and Panty and the guy pleasure each others noses with their fingers.
Bottom line this is a genius anime that you need to watch if you love that stuff. Other wise you'll bne a LOSER!
PERFECT 10/10!
Grave of the Fireflys review:
: Perhaps one of the saddest movies I've seen in a while. It's basically about two orphaned kids an older brother and a younger sister who are living during the world war II bombings and it is just so brutal. The mom ends up getting caught in the explosion and the maggots are litterly eating her flesh away they actually show it. Most horrifying then in real life. And because of this food supply is low and everyone is just so cold to them even their own aunt who took them in turned into a cold hearted bitch.
It just goes to show that War is a brutal thing and we don't realize the innocent people we affect that the media covers up.
Also if you ask me watch in Japanese, it'll be hard to take the movie seriously with their constant whining in english.
That Said I give it a 7.5/10

Hayao Miyazaki's latest colorful feature film! A half fish half human like thing lives underwater with her creepy pedophile looking father in an underwater castle. She escape and magically sprouts legs and meets a young boy named S%u014Dsuke they become great friends and the rest is just good colorful animated fun!
Well, sorta to be honest I do like the unique animation ( if I'm not mistaken this is all hand drawn) the story was kinda week and the english versions cast though big name stars like Tina Fey and Betty White were just...kinda weird having them around even though they did pretty good.Try to watch the Japanese version with subtitles.
Thus I give it a 7.5/10!

Austin Powers Review
YEAH BABY! What is to say about Austin Powers that hasn't been said already? Other then he's a sex machine and played by a brilliant Mike Myers!
Now before I begin as I was typing this I just realized I jumped into the second one accidently before the first one. Fortunately I have seen the first one but as a kid and I'm revisiting the series. But really it's okay to jump in on the second. I mean it's a common thing to know the premise. A spoof on spy movies and a wicked cast of characters like Dr.Evil and Fat Bastard.
Anyway in the second installments Austin is doing his thing when oh no the diabolical Dr.Evil has stolen Austins mojoy and now he must get it back!
As said above the movie is a spoof on a lot of action and spy films such as James Bond like for example the scene where they're interogating one of Dr.Evil's Henchman he says something like "Noooo my one weakness being ask the third time always makes me spit out important information"
So yeah, other then that you got one of Seth Greens notable roles (Other then Chris Griffen on Family Guy. Mike Myers playing Multiple roles. Cameo Appearences by Will Farrel and Jerry Springer. Now, THIS is freaking Comedy!
9/10!
Pretty Woman Review:
Cast:
Richard Gere ... Edward Lewis
Julia Roberts ... Vivian Ward
Ralph Bellamy ... James Morse
Jason Alexander ... Philip Stuckey
Laura San Giacomo ... Kit De Luca
Alex Hyde-White ... David Morse
Amy Yasbeck ... Elizabeth Stuckey
Elinor Donahue ... Bridget
Hector Elizondo ... Barney Thompson
Judith Baldwin ... Susan
Jason Randal ... Magician
Bill Applebaum ... Howard
Tracy Bjork ... Female Guest
Gary Greene ... Male Guest
Billy Gallo ... Carlos (as William Gallo)
Is it possible to fall in love with a hooker? Apparently this movie proves yes! Edward Lewis is a greedy business man who needs an escort for social events so he hires a whore and pays her to stay with him for the weekend. If you were in my English class in Junior you might remember this movie and personally I loved it. Julia Roberts nailed her role with it and Richard Geare was also great with her on screen. It's a cute romantic comedy that almost shares some similarities to Pygmalion. Which I will also be covering this month.
Rating: 8/10
A Street Car Named Desire Review:
Cast:
Vivien Leigh ... Blanche DuBois
Marlon Brando ... Stanley Kowalski
Kim Hunter ... Stella Kowalski
Karl Malden ... Harold 'Mitch' Mitchell
Ah yes the 1950's when abusive boyfriends wasn't considered much of a threat and made sandwiches when instructed.
A young women named Stella is expecting a child but her abusive boyfriend is always fighting with her. The poor girl stays with her sister and the rest is abuse yelling fighting and more fighting.
It's considered a classic by many but In my opinion it got a bit repetitive. However it does have some notable moments to it like "STELLLLAAAAAA"
There was even a Simpsons episode where Marge and Flanders were casted in the play. Which is how I found this movie.
That being said it's a great movie if you're in the right mood.
GoodFellas Review
7/10
Wow, what a movie. You got a top notch cast like Joe Pesci Robert Deniro and Ray lioata. In a mafia movie possibly the best one almost as Good if not better then the Godfather.
Story pretty much is how a kid gets a job with the Mafia and growing up in a Italian neighborhood and drama.
I remember my first Joe Pesci film was Home Alone. I loved him in that and considering what his role is in this movie that's saying a lot how good of an actor he is playing roles in Family Friendly films and Mature movies alike.
The Acting is superb so many quotes to choose from like Do you think I'm funny? How do you find me funny like a clown funny?
Just wow, Loved every second of it
PERFECT 10/10!
Full Metal Jacket Review:
Quite an experience of a movie. Is it a comedy? Is it a War movie? Action perhaps? How about all the above. Kind of a mash up all together with a dash of everything.
We're introduced to Sgt. Hartman a Drill instructor like no other every word that comes out of this guys mouth is hilarious so many lines to choose from like "Who said that? WHO THE FUCK SAID THAT? WHO'S THE COCKY LITTLE TWINKLE TOED CROCK OF SHIT THAT JUST SIGNED HIS OWN DEATH WARD!!!" I pissed myself of laughter because this guy stole the movie right?
*SPOILERS* Sadly no. He gets shot after a half hour or so into it. The rest is a war movie. You'll be shocked, disturbed and a bit sorry for the soilders. Even the end had me thinking. Similar to my Grave of the Fireflies review war is an ugly thing no matter whoes side your on.
If you're a fan of Stanley Kubrick this is a must see for you then. And I've actually noticed you never know what to expect in his movies the story pretty much writes itself.
Hitch Review:
8.5/10!
Well, I did say it was Romance month plus Black People but I can't seem to find Black actors who don't suck...Hmmm maybe I can combine the two and... EUREKA!!
You get Hitch. Staring Will Smith!
Basically it's a Love Doctor who helps out guys get some action and works with a client played by a nerdy Kevin James.
However even a Love Doctor has problems of his own while trying to get the girl of his dreams.
It's a romantic comedy kind of hit and miss nothing too memorable about it just another see it and pass it kind of thing. However if you got nothing to do today grab someone you love and just watch it together.
6/10
Dirty Dancing review:
My first movie staring the Late Patrick Swayze. And from what I can tell it's a really cute movie. Rich girl poor tough guy scenerio. Snooty white men galore. Shit happens. Typical stuff. The movie has a lot of scenes to choose from like "Baby in a corner"
Also it's noted that Wayne Knight (Hello...Newman) makes a cameo as the announcer. Which I thought was pretty cool .
Overall, it's a great movie not to mention a great ending.
7.5/10
Titanic Review:
What can I say about this movie? I mean I honestly have a lot of mixed feeling towards this so lets break it down and lets see what the score would be.
First off it's directed by James Cameron also known for Alien, Terminator, Avatar, and more. And here he is directing a movie about a disaster based on true events from one of the passangers. Not to mention I think it was like the biggest budget and highest grossing film.
Alright, next up cast lets see what we got here Leonardo DeCaprio okay not bad not a huge fan but he's okay, Kate Winslet, and a few notable supporting cast actors I think that was Kathy Bates in one part of the movie.
As for the story, yeah it has it's quirks, famous scenes like "I'M KING OF THE WORLD" " I'll never let go Jack" and a lot of others. Also the mushy sad music you know You are saaaafe in my heart and my heart will go onnnn...!
Now folks this is a 3+ hour movie. Personally, I get a bit antsy during 3 hour films and are not always the easiest for me to sit through with a few exceptions. So that's why you don't see many of the big ones. And yeah there are a TON of slow parts in this. So watching this movie as a whole is quite a challenge.
However if you got a buddy or girlfriend <3 to help you watch it you can crack a few jokes and make the time pass faster.
Well now that I got everything out of the way I guess this can determine the Scoring and sum up.
It's an alright movie, was really huge at the time it came out so it kinda aged over time, despite how the characters are boring and whiny I kinda liked it.
That said I give it... 6.5/10
Whatever Works Review
Huh where was I when this came out? I don't remember it being in theaters but I think it's very underated in my opinion.
Woody Allan directed this cute little romantic comedy starring my favorite bald shmohawk Larry David! playing Borris Yellnikoff an average joe who just rants to anyone who listens and even broke the fourth wall at the begining of the movie that put a smile on my face imediately. He meets a runaway named Melodie played by Evan Rachel Wood and lets the girl crash at his place.
He warms up to her she gets a boyfirend shit happens and the movie just goes by like an average situation kind of.
The characters are well written and Larry David really nailed this role seriously the guy should be in more movies. Also no nominees? Come on 1 would be good enough!
Anyway if you love Woody Allan or Larry David or Both in my case give this overlooked Gem a watch.
8/10
RENT review:
Yeah, I'm sure a lot of you heard about this musical somehow. Most famous: 525,600 minutes now that is really catchy Five thousand twenty five hundred six hundred minutes %u266A that good stuff. However the play is a bit corny at times and downright silly like why is their answering machine them singing "speaak" lols actually that looks pretty cool.
And yeah, story's about sex, drugs, afairs, Trannys and of course the dreaded AIDS!
Theres nothing funny about it either.
Anyway as for the movie itself the cast is talented for the most part though kind of forgettable and the characters can be a bit boring for some but try to keep awake for 2 hours and you'll enjoy it's moments. Probably also good to watch with a friend. If you're a musical fan check it out.
Overall, I personally found it decent enough to sit through and enjoy.
6.5/10
P.S Ashley if you're reading this you kept to your word and you made the right choice. Otherwise I'd have to smack you and make me 26 sandwihes. But you passed the test and are now in my bestiest friends club -%u03C9- <3
P.P.S Also, I'm surprised that the title is relevant to the movie itself rather then just crap out some random word. I mean hello they film a freaking doccumentary to pay the RENT for their appartment.
